Let’s face it, computer assisted design is hard, and building cutting paths using designs is even harder. Let us bring your ideas to life using our 10 years of experience in design additive and subtractive manufacturing.

Vector graphic design

We have 5 year of experience generating vector graphics for various applications including plotter cutting, laser cutting and etching, and stickers. The bulk of our design experience centres around pictograph safety stickers used in the transport industry to quickly and effectively communicate hazards with minimal attention required from the observer.

CNC milling and turning

We have the capacity and skill to take on most small scale turning and 3 axis milling tasks in conventional materials. We are backed by 5 years of machining in industry and an additional 5 years of design experience for manufacturing.

additive manufacturing

We have hundreds of hours of experience with FDM based printing in a variety of materials. Our portfolio includes custom TPU seals and device impact protection, custom cams for hydraulic valve operations printed in carbon reinforced PETG, and a heap of custom work holding, device enclosures, and tools. A recent addition to our available tools is DLP resin printing which will allow for a whole new assortment of specialty materials to be printed with detail well outside the capabilities of FDM printing.

We have hundreds of hours of experience with the cutter plotter using it for applications including die cut vinyl stickers, paint patterns stencils and masks, and paper craft components. The laser is a relatively new addition to our tool set but it has already been used to create custom package foam inserts, boxes, stamps, and even very unique business cards

CNC Turning - Haas tl2

Simple single tool-holder CNC tool room lathe capable of small scale production and prototyping of turned parts. The TL2 is a trusted workhorse for the odd jobs that don’t quite need the capabilities of a production slant bed lathe. Capable of all basic turning operations (OD turn, face, ID turn, drill, thread, etc.) if it’s round and fits in the envelope Lepus has you covered.

CNC milling - Converted rf-45 mill

CNC tool room Mill capable of small scale production and prototyping of milled parts. This small but capable machine is great for prototypes and odd jobs. far from its mill drill heritage, this CNC conversion now runs fully on double nut ball screws and has substantial upgrades to the spindle. This mill is capable of basic 3 axis milling, This little conversion is great for one offs and prototyping .

FDm Printing - Ender 5+

Mid-large FDM 3D-printer custom built with versatility in mind. This Ender 5+ has been equipped with the very capable MicroSwiss NG direct drive extruder to make the printing of even the most flexible filaments possible, great for custom seals and flexible assemblies. A hardened tool steel nozzle has been fitted to make printing of carbon reinforced filaments the standard for parts requiring strength. The machine is controlled by Klipper running mainsail OS making prints fast without sacrificing quality.

A wide range of UV cured resins are available and can be special purchased for your project. Material properties of engineering grade resins can emulate materials like TPU or ABS used in FDM printing. Special application resins offer positives for investment casting, dental prosthesis, and highly heat resistant prints making this technology highly valuable in a select set of applications.
